2/6/13 - At tonight's Cheltenham Township Building & zoning Committee meeting, the Board of Commissioners GRANTED the developer's request for a Public Hearing for a re-zoning of the property!!! This is grave news for the community. We MUST be vigilant to ensure the new zoning law does not pass, as it has HUGE implications throughout the entire Township. Your Steering Committee is creating a non-profit corporation so that we may begin to raise funds to hire professionals to aggressively support our efforts.
1/7/13 - The Developer is renewing their efforts in 2013. They are now attempting to get the parcel re-zoned for higher density within both Springfield and Cheltenham Townships. Public meetings are beginning with a presentation at the 1/7/13 Springfield Board of Commissioners Workshop meeting at 7:30PM. We expect it to get on Cheltenham's agenda in February of 2013.
